Our Story - Welcome to Tackaberry

Tackaberry Heating and Refrigeration Supplies was founded in  1967,  by Mac and Betty Tackaberry. We are still 100% owned by the  Tackaberry Family, with both of Mac and Betty's children,  Frances  and Paul working in the business. We are a 4 location,  HVACR  Distributor and Sheet Metal manufacturer primarily serving Eastern  Ontario.

Head office is located in Kingston, with branch locations in Belleville, Brockville and Cornwall Ontario. We employ well over 50 full time staff members and inventory an extensive offering of heating, cooling and fireplace product. We also manufacture a complete line of sheet metal product at our Kingston location including pipe, duct and elbows.

In an industry that is full of large corporate entities, fuelled by mergers, acquisitions and buyouts, we are one of the few independent, privately held Family Wholesalers left in Eastern Ontario. Our ongoing success is built on ensuring that every single customer has easy access to the ownership group and the ability to create relationships with our core team members. From quoting to credit, we are committed to providing our customers with an exceptional experience each and every time they interact with us.
